Experience

Christi has been impacting bottom line results for companies in competitive high tech industries for over 20 years.  A consultant since 2001, Christi helps businesses better position themselves for acquisition, revenue growth, profitability, and competitiveness.  Her experience includes working with companies up to $150M in biotech, SaaS, mobile apps, software integration, networking, manufacturing, and consumer goods.

Christi is brought in by companies to help with various challenges and needs.  She was brought on as acting CEO to help a failing privately owned B2C product and service company.  She successfully turned it around into a profitable and growing business by restructuring the problem areas including its debt, financial controls, operational policies and procedures, personnel management, and revenue model.  She implemented a new business model and strategy, while ensuring alignment and stability across all aspects of the business.

Christi provides businesses with different levels of assistance, depending on their particular needs: new growth and business strategies; sales and marketing plans; sales process documentation and training; strategic partnerships; direct, channel, and recurring revenue models;  business development process and training;  in-person meetings with partners on behalf of client;  CRM and document sharing;  research and market trend analysis for technology usage; business consultations to other business consulting firms;  negotiate contracts on behalf of client; provide executive coaching and support; documentation evaluation;  marketing services such as messaging, taglines, value propositions, pricing, SEO, brochures, and presentations. Christi is often asked to take a hands-on role during implementations.

Prior to consulting, Christi managed P&L’s and grew revenues in both public and private companies.  At Proteon Inc., a $150M networking company, Christi surpassed revenue expectations by twofold for the services division and then was recruited into sales, where she consistently exceeded quotas, grew revenues by 400% per month, and was promoted twice, resulting in sales management for the east coast.  Her former sales manager recruited her to an internet VPN startup where she opened a sales office, managed the P&L with a $1.6M expense budget, built the sales team, and developed a recurring revenue stream worth over $2M in six months.  She was again recruited to join an enterprise software integration company, where she quickly repaired customer relationships worth $1M in the first year, sold complex integration solutions averaging $100k each, exceeded her revenue goals by 120%, and hired staff to expand into the mid-Atlantic region.  They succeeded in being acquired and  Christi was well positioned to enter the field of consulting.

Education

Christi graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Business, and a minor in Marketing, from Bentley College in Waltham, Massachusetts.  She was a student in Bentley’s Honors Program in Management and a member of the Bentley College Honor Society.  Christi continues to enjoy membership in Beta Gamma Sigma, the International Honor Society for Collegiate Schools of Business.  Additional professional education programs include Business Acquisition, Financial Management, Negotiation, Project Management, and various business systems and software courses.  Christi also holds certification in Strategic Selling from Miller Heiman, the industry leader in sales performance, best practices, sales processes, and sales strategies.
